Brick House Tap & Tavern

21 September, 2012 | Bistro, Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

Yet another GREAT find!!!  What looked like an unexciting sports bar from the outside, turned out to be a very nice, warm and comfortable restaurant once we walked through that door.   The hostess was very friendly and we were immediately shown to a table.  Unfortunately it was right under an AC vent, so when we saw what appeared to be a manager walk by, we asked if it would be okay if we moved somewhere “warmer”.  She was very accommodating and gave us our pick of seats.  A server appeared immediately and she too was very friendly and attentive.  The menu was pretty extensive, offering everything from upscale bar-food to steaks and grilled salmon.  They had numerous very unique-sounding items on the menu that we will be anxious to try on our NEXT visit (this is one we plan to re-visit). Their prices, while a little higher than your typical sports bar, were very reasonable and the quality AND quantity of the dishes certainly warranted the $$.  Overall, we both would give this place two thumbs-up – a very cool place.
