JUST a bar!! Enough said. Since they don’t have a “grill” there is nothing FRIED (no burgers, no fries, etc.) The sandwiches were ok, but a very limited menu. Service was just ok, but can’t see any reason to return!
Just a so/so bar. Sort of disappointing since I’ve heard so many people rave about this place over the years – it is supposed to be legendary. The service was ok, the food was just ok (had wings and burger) but the décor was warm and reminiscent of a typical corner bar!
What a cool place (though not necessarily from a decor standpoint)! Yummiest hot dogs we’ve ever had! $5.00 will get you a huge, very high quality hot dog with any topping you can possibly dream up (from peanut butter, brie, fried egg, etc. – at least 40 different toppings – definitely fork and knife meal)! A bar……….enough said. Bartender / waitress was really friendly and very attentive. The food (burger and a chicken philly) were good, but the place was old and gloomy and didn’t seem too clean. Would have no reason to ever go back.

Definitely your typical neighborhood corner bar – with JUST bar food. Decent burgers, but again…..just burgers, wings, etc.
Surprisingly good! Definitely an ‘out of the way’ place (basement bar) where you have to drive around to the back of the building to even see a sign. They had really good sandwiches and wonderful service.
This place is strictly a bar. We might consider going back for a beer, but not to eat.
