Tony Maloney’s

27 April, 2010 | Irish, Italian, Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

An “Irish / Italian” sports bar!! Well, great concept, but the service was lacking and the food wasn’t that great.  There was nothing unique or intesting on the menu and everything we did try was either pre-packaged or obviously frozen.  Too many sports bars to go back to this one.

AWESOME Italian food. Really good service, but the food was great. On the pricey side, but SO worth it.

Anthony’s Sports Bar and Italian Restaurant

16 February, 2010 | Italian, Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

A very odd combination – it called itself a “sports bar” but it didn’t LOOK like it since we were on the restaurant side.  Great service and food was unusually good.

Verso’s

A small little neighborhood Italian place – very “bistro-like”. Food was good – not fantastic, but good.

Parasson’s

29 December, 2009 | Italian | By: Mr Z

Great little family type Italian place. Typical Italilan dishes on the menu, as well as pizza, sandwiches and salads.  The service was very good, as was the food, with large portions and an abundance of cheese on everything (for some, like me, that’s a GOOD thing)!

Maria’s Pizza & Pasta

15 December, 2009 | Family Restaurant, Italian, Pizza | By: Mr Z

A family type place and very crowded for Tuesday.  They had really good pizza, salads and bread, but since we didn’t try any of the entrees, can’t comment there, but if what we had was an indication, all of their items would be good!

Papa Joe’s/Iacomini’s

1 December, 2009 | Italian, Steak / Seafood, Traditional / American | By: Mr Z

An outstanding place – and huge!!  The menu was really big, offering everything from Italian dishes and steaks, to seafood. The service was excellent as well.  It was a little pricey, but was a perfect “special-occasion” place to go.

Mama Santa’s Pizza & Pasta

An excellent authentic, neighborhood (Little Italy) Italian place. Good food and low prices and warm, friendly service!

Eddie Cerino’s Pizza & Pasta

6 October, 2009 | Italian, Pizza | By: Mr Z

They had only been open 2 weeks so we weren’t sure what to expect.  The pizza was just okay, not as good as either Eddie’s Creekside or Carrie Cerinos, so that was a little disappointing.  We figured our first visit would be to try the pizza and if it was good, we’d try something a […]

Pepper’s

A very neat little neighborhood Italian place.  We could tell that most of the patrons in there were regulars, just by the conversation.  The service was exceptional and we were treated just like “the regulars”.  Had the old standbys – chicken parm and eggplant parm.  Both were very good and we’d definitely go back again.
