Parma Tavern

A huge sports bar on State Rd. that we thought was really good. Excellent service and a wide variety of menu items that weren’t typical of your neighborhood sports bar. Great tuna salad and stuffed cabbage (not together, of course) and by far the BEST pierogis we’ve ever had!

The Savannah

THE place to go in Westlake if you’re into ‘oldies’ music!  Décor was a little tired, but for a Tuesday night, the place was hopping!  Very surprised to see that many folks over the age of 70 out and about on a Tuesday night, but this place draws them in.  Very interesting menu, offering a […]

Pacer’s

Very large sports bar right on Detroit Rd. – huge patio that I would guess would be fabulous in the nice weather (and very crowded). Nice menu and great service, but they advertise that their ribs are “award winning, the best around, blah, blah….” and they definitely weren’t!  Good wings however. Wouldn’t resist going back, […]

Sip N-Post

A typical neighborhood sports bar (decor was a little on the dreary side) but with some of the best and biggest hot dogs ever. Decent service and ‘pretty’ clean inside. Would definitely go back for the hot dogs alone.

Screaming Rooster

Highly recommended to us, we were looking forward to this “neighborhood bar” but sadly were a little disappointed. Service – for a Tuesday – was horrible. They had a decent menu but since we had been told the burgers were awesome, that’s what we ordered.  Unfortunately, they were “just” burgers, though huge!  Best thing I […]

Bricco Pub

We ended up here by default – the original place in that location was no longer in business.  This was a scaled down, less formal version of Bricco Italian Café in Fairlawn.  Interesting bar-type menu – good burger and pizza, and a nice patio, but no reason to go back.

Deagan’s Kitchen & Bar

Very cool place located where Barnacle Bill’s used to be. Very interesting menu – not too extensive, but a huge beer selection. Enough on the menu to please anyone and great service.

Larry’s Main Entrance

A good old-fashioned neighborhood bar…… “lightly breaded fish” was NOT (breaded LIGHTLY) but the burgers were ok.  Since it a little far from home, don’t think ti was worth the trip enough to go back.

Buckeye Beer Engine

Very cool bar (but more than) with an interesting and varied menu.  HUGE beer selection, but NO domestic brands….. big negative for us!

Rav’s Creekside

We tried this primarily because of a coupon (glad we got at least something out of it).  The wings were decent as were the burgers, but it was very much just a bar.  It was difficult to enjoy any food because of the smell of years of stale cigarrette smoke!  At least our server was […]
