Spunkmeyer’s Pub

28 December, 2010 | Sports Bar | By: Mr Z

An absolutely outstanding sports bar!  While it really was just a bar, they had a chicken dish that was delicious.  The menu was huge and the service was great!  Would love to go back to try other things!

Mulligan’s

28 September, 2010 | Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

Great bar – wonderful patio and good service. Very similar menu to Mulligan’s in Strongsville.  Yummy “Irish Egg Rolls” (shredded corned beef, sauerkraut and swiss cheese rolled up in an egg roll wrapper and fried – served with thousand island dressing for dipping – mmmmm)!

Barley House

14 September, 2010 | Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

Just another typical sports bar.  It was “supposed” to be an Irish pub, but they had JUST changed menu day before (bad timing on our part), so consequently a lot of menu items that they had previously featured were no longer available.  It was ok, but when you think you’re going to an Irish Pub; a […]

Nine Bistro

7 September, 2010 | Bistro, Sports Bar | By: Mr Z

Excellent outdoor patio overlooking a golf course. Great service and awesome burgers. It’s definitely not somewhere you’d just ‘happen upon’ – it has to be your destination, but well worth the trip.

The Grille

Pretty good sandwiches, but really lousy service.  Definitely more of a sportsbar, so if it’s good food you’re after, this may not be the place.

The Blue Snapper

6 July, 2010 | Sports Bar, Steak / Seafood | By: Mrs Z

This used to be Vhooda (and Cooker prior to that).  A very cool atmosphere and really good food. They had a wide variety of seafood items, along with non-seafood, on their menu and everything we tried was very good.

Jocko’s Bar & Grill

29 June, 2010 | Sports Bar | By: Mr Z

This was another one of those “second choice” places since our initial choice was a place we’d been already.  It turned out to be pretty darned good though.  Just a bar, but good sandwiches and good service.

P.J.McIntyre’s

22 June, 2010 | Irish, Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

Good old-fashioned Irish Pub. Down the street from West Park Station (Kamms Corners) and was very cool looking inside. The food was great – excellent corned beef and many other Irish dishes.

Tony Maloney’s

27 April, 2010 | Irish, Italian, Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

An “Irish / Italian” sports bar!! Well, great concept, but the service was lacking and the food wasn’t that great.  There was nothing unique or intesting on the menu and everything we did try was either pre-packaged or obviously frozen.  Too many sports bars to go back to this one.

Anthony’s Sports Bar and Italian Restaurant

16 February, 2010 | Italian, Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

A very odd combination – it called itself a “sports bar” but it didn’t LOOK like it since we were on the restaurant side.  Great service and food was unusually good.
