Water Street Grille
The interior decor was very nice, but unfortunately the food was only average. Service was average as well. Only advice – don’t order the pot roast!

We were very happy to see something in the ‘fine dining’ arena come to this area and were pretty satisfied with our experience. The menu was unique and interesting and the service was pretty good. Overall, our entrees were very good, but a couple of the things weren’t heated all the way through. The server happily […]
Somewhat disappointing due to all the hype. The menu was somewhat limited, though there was “probably” something for every taste, but definitely not many choices, and while what we had was “good”, this wasn’t a place we’d either be anxious to return to, or highly recommend to others.
A VERY cool place with an awesome menu – very different and unusual. A bit on the pricey side ($30 fried chicken – but excellent). It was warm and friendly, with outstanding service. UPDATE: Henry’s at the Barn is closed and in that location now is STRIP (see post)
A wonderful place with a great atmosphere and excellent food. The menu was very broad with everything to steaks and seafood, to some very creative and interesting dishes. This would definitely fall under the “white tablecloth” category, but we were made to feel very comfortable and the owner/chef personally visited each table and greeted the guests […]
This place was phenomenal and absolutely packed – surprising for a Tuesday night. Nevertheless, the service was excellent; the atmosphere wonderful and the menu selection was pretty extensive. They have a pretty diverse menu and both entrees (a chicken dish and a seafood dish) were very good. Reasonable prices, but tough to find a parking spot […]
Very nice place with a cool atmosphere (large “waterfall wall” inside). Guess it would lean more towards ‘fine dining’ since the menu was quite extensive with pretty big $$$. Steak and seafood seem to be their main offerings, but they had several dishes that would fall into the Italian or just traditional category. The service […]
Formerly “Jackie’s Casual Cuisine” (how could we forget THAT place) and Chester’s before that; this was pretty much a typical steak house. The service was prompt and polite – not overly friendly, but good. Our steaks were “ok”. It wasn’t Hyde Park quality by far, but then we also weren’t paying Hyde Park prices. It […]
Absolutely outstanding! The servers / staff were amazing! You’d have thought we were there for a celebratory dinner, rather than just a night out during the week. Very friendly and fun. The meny was phenomenal and our dishes were wonderful. A little on the pricey side, but would go back in a heartbeat!
Very cool place in Tremont, but after being blown away by the atmosphere, service and exceptional food; we found out this was the last seating for them and that they were closing for good the next day!
