Matteo’s Casual Italian Restaurant
Formerly a Mexican restaurant (can’t remember which chain); this neat little casual Italian restaurant has taken over the space, but while it looks tiny from the outside; it’s actually quite spacious inside with a huge bar and deck in the back. They’ve only been open since November, 2016 but seem to have caught on already since on this Tuesday night they had a pretty decent crowd.
Our server, Julia, was very attentive even once she got busy. Mr. Z had the veal parmesan, which was very good and reasonably priced. I had the Pollo Matteo’s which was absolutely delicious. I’d say that their prices are very comparable (and maybe a bit lower) than any good Italian place we’ve been to. Very much worth checking out.
