Ray’s Place of Fairlawn

28 February, 2017 | Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

We just happened to have a reason to be at Summit Mall on this Tuesday evening, so we figured we’d check out our options in that area and since we had been to most of the places right there at the mall, this looked like a possibility.  WAY bigger on the inside than it looked from the street with a gigantic menu!  Though basically just a bar, they had a really broad selection of entrée items to choose from as well.

I had Ray’s Reuben and though the corned beef was very lean and tender, honestly it didn’t have a whole lot of flavor.  The house-made pumpernickel was very soft and had a strange consistency and no taste at all.  I found the sauerkraut to be the same…..pretty tasteless.  Mr. Z went with just a corned beef sandwich, which he said was ‘okay’.  Their fries were good, however.  We would probably go back, but most likely try something different.

Ray’s Place is located at:

25 Ghent Rd.
