Rocky’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant
Was a bit apprehensive when I saw the outside – dingy little place in an old worn out strip center; but…… once inside, was very impressed. Décor was ok – a little worn, but certainly you could tell effort was put into making the most of a small space. The service was good and the menu was really impressive – a wide variety of typical Italian dishes, and some that were uniquely creative and very tasty-sounding. We figured we’d start with the basics so we shared a plain cheese pizza and a meatball and pepperoni calzone. Pizza was good – calzone was a little doughy and somewhat empty on the inside but the sauce was really good!
