Sainato’s Restaurant

1 May, 2012 | Italian, Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

Wow, when we finally found this place, we weren’t sure it was safe to park the car in front.  It’s located in what looked like an abandoned warehouse/industrial area, but once inside we were pleasantly surprised to see that not only was it still in business, but the side that we sat on looked recently remodeled.  […]

Happy Dog

28 June, 2011 | Bar | By: Mrs Z

What a cool place (though not necessarily from a decor standpoint)!  Yummiest hot dogs we’ve ever had! $5.00 will get you a huge, very high quality hot dog with any topping you can possibly dream up (from peanut butter, brie, fried egg, etc. – at least 40 different toppings – definitely fork and knife meal)! […]

Caffe Roma

24 August, 2010 | Italian | By: Mr Z

This was a fallback since the original place chosen (right next door) was closed for vacation (sometimes it pays to call ahead) but this turned out okay. Another one with NO liquor license though, and the server had ZERO personality.  The bright spot was that the prices were very reasonable and the sauce was delicious.

P.J.McIntyre’s

22 June, 2010 | Irish, Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

Good old-fashioned Irish Pub. Down the street from West Park Station (Kamms Corners) and was very cool looking inside. The food was great – excellent corned beef and many other Irish dishes.

Bruno’s

4 May, 2010 | Fine Dining, Italian | By: Mr Z

MAGNIFICENT!!  I can’t say enough good things about Bruno’s.  A very cool little authentic Italian place which was jam-packed on a Tuesday night.  We were initially a little nervous since nothing about the neighborhood, nor the outside hint at what’s waiting when you get inside, but SO glad we overlooked that.  The food was beyond […]

Bo Loong

13 October, 2009 | Chinese | By: Mrs Z

Located in Cleveland’s “Chinatown”, this was a very authentic Chinese place with excellent food.  We had heard about their dim sum, and were anxious to try it; however discovered when we were ordering that they don’t offer it during the dinner hours.  Regardless, everything was excellent and will look forward to going back.

Stone Mad

1 September, 2009 | Sports Bar | By: Mrs Z

This place actually had a Bocci court in in the back!  However, a very limited menu. The food was just okay, so doubtful that we’d go back. We were told that this was one of Jimmy Dimora’s favorite hangouts (no sign of him this night though).

Krazy Mac’s Cafe

12 May, 2009 | Bistro | By: Mr Z

AWESOME!!!  Every item on the menu is very creative and based totally around mac & cheese – how could you go wrong with all that cheese.
