Wild Mango
Wild Mango has been at Great Northern Mall for as long as I can remember (formerly Wei Tei) and this is the first time we’ve been through the doors! I have to admit though, that it was not our intended destination, but it’s where we ended up and we were pleasantly surprised to find that we really enjoyed it. I’ve checked out their menu online several times in the past and for one reason or another, have decided to pass (it just sounded a little too ‘complicated’……many Asian-sounding dishes along with ITALIAN……hmmmm).
After studying the menu for quite some time, we chose the Asian Salmon Duo and the Chicken Trio and decided to share. WOW……all five of these very different dishes were delicious (however the teriyaki chicken was a little on the spicy side, but still good) – most definitely more than enough for 2 people. Our only complaint was the service. It took forever to get waited on, then an unreasonable amount of time for the rolls that our server had promised 25 minutes earlier, THEN our meals arrived immediately. Perhaps they were having some organizational issues due to the holidays. Overall we were pleasantly surprised and MAY return…..the jury is still out on that though.
