Flat Iron Cafe
We may be the only ones who have lived in this area for 25+ years, have spent time in the Flats, yet have never been to this long-standing Irish pub, so it was long overdue. Definitely not a disappointment either as both the service and the food were a testament as to why it has lasted so many years while so many other places have come and gone! The menu is large with several unique items. I tried the Shepherd’s Pie which was amazing – definitely falls in the “comfort food” category. He, on the other hand, was a little more conservative with a very large club sandwich. We were both pleased with our choices and decided that this was one place we’d definitely need to return to so we could check out some of the other selections!
