Blue Turtle Tavern
There really isn’t much to be said about the Blue Turtle Tavern. It is, quite simply, your typical neighborhood bar, serving typical bar food. My burger was good – not great, but good and Mr. Z’s burger wrap was good; again, not great but certainly edible. Probably the most aggravating thing about our meal (and this happens more often than not) was why do the servers insist on asking how we would like our burger “done” if the cook has no intention of preparing it that way!? When you say you want your burger “medium”, and it comes out like little dried-out gray pebbles, should you just suck it up and eat it, or should you send it back (and risk ire – or worse – from the cook)? We ate them anyway.
