Peachtree Southern Kitchen
What a find this was, but I guess I should have expected nothing less from this pair of owners given their history. The only thing that surprised us was that they’ve been in Hudson for 2 years now and we’d never heard of them nor noticed in passing. But…..after this first visit, you can bet we plan on returning!
Peachtree occupies a small storefront right on Main Street in Hudson and has a really nice patio for those wishing to dine outside. The best way to describe the atmosphere inside is clean and crisp, and lacking frou-frou! Everything is done in black and white and feels very comfortable and inviting, but perhaps the absolute best thing about Peachtree is the menu and the food!!! We had a really hard time making a decision, but ultimately I went with the chicken and waffles and Mr. Z had the shrimp and grits! We’ve both had those same dishes elsewhere (many times) and these were, BY FAR, the best ever! Our server, Kaitlyn, was really attentive and lots of fun. She was very knowledgeable about the menu items and was able to answer any questions we had.
