Bearden’s
For those of you who have lived in the Cleveland area for many years, and even for those who haven’t….Bearden’s may not be new to you, but believe it or not and though we have driven past it many times in our almost 30 years in the area; we had never been to Bearden’s!
Since we were going to be out in the Rocky River area on this Tuesday, I decided we should check it out. I have been told by some folks that it’s just “not as good as it used to be during the previous owners reign”, however having nothing to compare it to, we found it to be a really neat little place with great burgers. Very much like a typical 50’s style diner (right down to the black and white checkered floor), it’s a very simple place with a straightforward kind of menu (no table service – you order at the counter and they deliver it to your table). The burgers were so fresh and right off the grill, they were actually too hot to eat when first delivered. Once cooled though, they were delicious. The buns tasted as if they were made fresh that day. Even the fries were fresh and perfect! Though we didn’t try any of the milkshakes, we’ve been told that they’re amazing! A pleasant surprise was that they offered several different kinds of bottled beer. The final bonus was that kids eat FREE on Tuesday nights!
If you’re one of the few that haven’t been to Bearden’s – definitely worth the trip!
