Dante
Dante is just as fabulous as we had heard and as this was a ‘special occasion’, I was happily surprised by our visit! Definitely not a disappointment, from the décor and service, to the amazing food; Dante deserves all of the praise it receives!
We started with the Pappardelle Bolognese (Mr. Z just had to try their sauce) and though it was a ‘small plate’ or appetizer; it was a huge portion. I got a taste and agreed with him – delicious! Since you don’t see Banana butternut squash soup on too many menus, I just had to try that as well. It was yummy, but very rich! For our entrees, Mr. Z had the Verlasso Salmon which he said was outstanding and I went with the Florida Grouper, which was also amazing! There was not a single negative thing that could be said about Dante and though it’s not someplace one would go on a weekly basis; if you’re looking for someplace a little above the ordinary sports bar, or to celebrate a special occasion; this is a must try!
