The Pub – Beachwood
Though I’m not absolutely sure, I think The Pub has taken the space in Beachwood Place that was formerly occupied by McCormick & Schmick (sorry to see them go). However, The Pub is a wonderful addition to the area. The décor looks very much like (an upscale) authentic English Pub and the menu has many items that I’d would also expect to see on any menu across the pond; with a few American ones thrown in as well.
Even though I was tempted to try a more authentic English dish; I decided to have the Chicken Fajita Tacos, which were quite good. Mr. Z had the Shrimp and Chips, and though a little apprehensive about the shrimp, fearing it would be small and heavily breaded; said it was really good!
We both enjoyed our visit to The Pub and next time, will definitely step out of the comfort zone and maybe go with the Shepherd’s Pie!
