Johnny J’s Pub & Grille
This Irish-style bar and grille, though not really ‘new’ to Strongsville (formerly Johnny Malloy’s), has been recently renamed and remodeled and is a really great addition to the area. The inside is really warm and inviting and VERY large. There is an outdoor patio, and while that’s always a good thing; looking out on a parking lot doesn’t really lend itself to outdoor enjoyment (just my opinion).
In spite of the fact that it was really crowded on a Tuesday evening, the service was amazing. They offer daily specials and though I didn’t try them, I’m told that the Tuesday special of 1-1/2 lbs of crab legs is a great deal. Mr. Z had the Breakfast Panini, which he said was really good. I went with the Italian Chicken Grinder which was really good as well.
Though the atmosphere is most definitely that of a sports bar, the menu is certainly a step above.
