The Proper Pig
We were surprised by our recent visit to The Proper Pig since it looks like such a small place from the outside, but has enough ‘eat in’ tables to make it worthwhile, even if you’re not taking your order to go. The menu is pretty limited though, consisting primarily of……you guessed it – BBQ! Being our first visit, we played it safe and ordered sandwiches – the pulled pork and the brisket. The brisket was the better of the two. In addition, they offer potato salad (which was pretty tasteless – needed lots of salt and pepper and even then wasn’t all that great) and baked beans, which were really good.
It’s worth a visit, but since there are so many really good BBQ spots, it’s doubtful that we’ll go back.
